The desire to promote and develop Savoie wines remains the priority of Pauline Lozano (fourth generation at the head of Maison Adrien Vacher in Porte-de-Savoie), with a consolidation of the clientele and the development of new markets. She attaches great importance to preserving the reputation of Maison Vacher that her father, grandfather and great-grandfather created (1950) and made prosper, through always high-quality products.

Following on from a successful general agricultural competition (five wines presented and five medals for Maison Vacher and its cellar master Jérôme Blanc, three medals out of five wines for Domaine Château de la Violette), two other awards came to honor two other vintages. First a top 10 and a gold medal in the 31e qualitative comparison of the best chardonnays in the world, at the Château des Ravatys, in Saint-Lager in wine-growing Burgundy, for the chardonnay from Domaine Charles Gonnet. The college of tasters awarded 68 gold medals out of 579 samples presented (33 countries). “First, three years ago, we were hesitant to represent ourselves, but the chanel master, Nicolas Burdin, felt it. In the end, that’s two golds and two top 10s in three years, with rave reviews. We are in continuity. The key is the grape variety, we can compare ourselves to wines from everywhere: there are only three French wines in the top 10, including one from Savoie! »

At the International Vinalies competition in , the world reference for wine tasting competitions, organized for more than 20 years by French oenologists, the rosé from Château de la Violette also won gold and a relay on the international Wine platform search. “Here too, it’s interesting to confront other rosés, without being limited to one region,” adds his father, Charles Henri Gayet. “We can be proud of these medals, which confirm the work of everyone and restore dynamism, even though we have experienced changes in the teams and competition is increased. They give the image of a company that we constantly want to improve, just like the wines of Savoie,” concludes Pauline.
