The Pont du Gard hosts a reverse cabaret to close the ATP season

The Pont du Gard site and the popular theater association (ATP) of Uzès co-host The Reversed Cabaretfrom the company La Faux Populaire – Le Mort aux Dents.

A brand new creation offered Friday May 3 and Saturday May 4 at 8:15 p.m., then Sunday May 5 at 5 p.m., which focuses on a couple who no longer knows where they are! Like a cabaret, the Faux Populaire invites the public under its marquee, installed on the site, on the left bank, to have fun illuminating the permanent duality of the now famous “living together”, but as a couple! By questioning through the classic form of cabaret the notions of model, heritage, social context, and by attempting to overturn or clash the codes, in a joyful, playful and sensitive way.

Between the two protagonists and a few guests, the meeting and sharing takes shape around wines to taste, juggling acts, crystal manipulations of all kinds, velocipedic acrobatics, dressage, magic, ballistic conflicts of all kinds and many other surprises, to tell us about this strange need to be in a relationship. And to populate a universe, what could be better than being two?

The particularity of this show is to offer a form of cabaret under a big top which combines circus acts and wine tastings. Instead of the traditional circus stands, spectators will sit on chairs around small tables filled with glasses and bottles, in the true spirit of a cabaret!

Normal price: €15; Reduced rate (children): €10. Parking to be paid in addition: €9 (free for subscribers). Ticket office: www.pontdugard.fr.
