The names of the finalist municipalities for season 7 of “Your most beautiful market” have been revealed. Votes to choose the big winner are already open.
There are 24 candidates in the running, one per region, for the competition for the most beautiful market in France.
Who will succeed the La Réole market? The commune in the South-West of France, located in the Gironde department, is the latest winner of this operation launched by Jean-Pierre Pernaut, in 2018, to “highlight a place which remains the essential place of life in all cities: the market”.
Overseas is represented by the L’Étang-Salé Market on Reunion Island and the Diamond Market in Martinique.
The vote to choose the big winner of the “Your most beautiful market” competition will be open until May 23, 2024 on this website.
Remember that a first phase of voting, at regional level, had already taken place from March 6 to April 1 and that out of 214 competing markets, 24 were therefore selected.
The Internet users’ choice will be added to that of the jury, made up of three TF1 viewers and three emblematic faces of the channel: Bruce Toussaint, Isabelle Ithurburu and Laurent Kérusoré.
The name of the big winner will then be revealed live on the 1 p.m. news on TF1, during the week of June 24, 2024.
