With spring, the season of outdoor festive gatherings is in full swing throughout France. With a view to the potential organization of a rave party on its soil, the Deux-Sèvres prefecture indicates that “Undeclared festive gatherings of a musical nature are likely to take place in the Deux-Sèvres department over the period from Tuesday April 30, 2024 to Sunday May 12, 2024 inclusive”.

State services thus issued two prefectural decrees on Monday April 29. The first ban “undeclared festive gatherings of a musical nature such as “rave party”, “free party” or “Teknival” throughout the Deux-Sèvres department”.

Concerning the second decree, it concerns “the ban on the circulation of vehicles transporting sound equipment destined for an unauthorized festive gathering of a musical nature on all road networks in the Deux-Sèvres department”.

The prefecture limits its orders from Tuesday April 30 at 6 p.m. until Sunday May 12 at 6 p.m.
