At the time of the 2024 assessment, the organizers note that it is “increasingly difficult to offer spectators a quality set“. To attract prestigious teams, they have therefore chosen to offer a classic on May 13, 2025 from Dunkirk. This one-day race earns points for the teams. Then will come the traditional 4 Days of Dunkirk event reduced by one day. Five stages planned again from Dunkirk.
The UCI has also revealed its calendar for the 2025 season. The first major cycling race of the season, the Denain Grand Prix is scheduled for Thursday March 20. Paris-Roubaix will take place on April 13.
We await October 29, the presentation of the Tour de France route by the ASO group with the Grand Departure from Lille on July 5, 2025 and two stages in the Nord and Pas-de-Calais: Lauwin-Planque > Boulogne-sur-Mer the next day and on Monday 7 the Valenciennes > Dunkirk stage.
