The best of ballet dancers will be at the Théâtre du Léman on Tuesday, October 8 for an exceptional evening with the World Ballet Stars gala.
Exceptional dancers from the best ballet troupes in the world (Berlin, Milan, Paris) will be in Geneva for this unique evening. Former star dancer and now organizer of World Ballet Stars, Vladimir Ippolitov, is delighted to see these artists at the Théâtre du Léman: “For me it is an honor to see all these stars come to this evening”.
The aim of the event is clear and consists of introducing the Geneva public to the masterpieces of classical, neo-classical and contemporary ballet. Vladimir Ippolitov has been heading the event for 10 years and says he still enjoys bringing the stars of the ballet world to the end of the lake. “It’s my passion,” sums up the former star dancer.
Special anniversary program
October 8 will mark the tenth edition of the World Ballet Stars Gala. Who says birthday, says tailor-made program. The event which every year revisits the classics that everyone knows like Swan Lake or Romeo and Juliet promises to bring stars to your eyes. Already almost full, the evening will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Théâtre du Léman.
Vladimir Ippolitov is also a Ballet teacher. He is delighted to see the discipline still arouse vocations today. He also considers Ballet as “a basis for education in general”.
