A 59-year-old man who works as a meter reader in the water department of the urban areawas fatally hit by the driver of a van this Thursday, while he was on an intervention in the commune of Cranves-Sales. Gabriel Doublet specifies that the community “will be a civil party so that all light can be shed on the circumstances of this tragic accident”. “Due to these exceptional circumstances, the Annemasse Agglo water service is likely to be disrupted for a few days, we ask for the understanding of users and assure them that everything is being done to minimize the impact on the service”, the press release also states.
