Hydrogen is attracting Gers businesses. – Auch Airport welcomed companies who came to testify on their way of integrating hydrogen into their strategy and processes: France Hydrogène, Ad’Occ, Aerospace Valley, Safra, Terega, Eiffage, Lhyfe, Beyond Aero, H3 Dynamics and Blue Spirit Aero. These exchanges with interested Gers companies allowed them to assess the challenges and possible opportunities, particularly IN the aeronautical subcontracting sector. While the work of the national Hydrogen group, set up by CCI France, has shown that initiatives are taking shape almost everywhere in France, this first step will allow a hydrogen sector to emerge and be structured in the department.
The May 1st Fair in Oloron. – It is an important event for the local economy, generating millions of euros in turnover for local traders and artisans. This ancestral fair attracts thousands of visitors each year. It is deployed in emblematic places of the city, such as the train station, the Public Garden, the Sainte-Croix district or even Saint-Pierre Square, which welcomes the animals and the cheese competition of the Union of Farmer Producers of 64 On the program, the traditional trade fair (from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.), with more than 250 stands of local artisans and producers, constitutes a unique opportunity to discover and taste local Béarnaise products, such as cheeses, wine, honey and jams. This event also gives pride of place to Béarnaise culture, with the presence of numerous folk groups (Montanhas e ribera, the Samaritan Pastoral and the Faget singers), demonstrations of traditional know-how. Children will be able to go on pony rides and donkey rides or take a ride on bumper cars, ride small pedal horses or even attend ninepin bowling demonstrations. Finally, a free shuttle service will be set up from 9 a.m. to get to the festivities.
