Remembering the very good results and increased attendance last year – 400 to 500 spectators for each of the races and more than 1000 for the bodega – the co-presidents of the Pernes bullfighting club, Lou Touréou Pernen, presented the program of the 2024 bullfighting season at the Espace Saint-Gilles.

Didier Rimbert and Fabrice Gay announced that the festivities will begin on Saturday April 27, at 11 a.m., with the abrivado under the Notre-Dame gate with the bulls from the Grimaud herd. Then, at 4 p.m., the public will attend the Camargue race counting for the 1st series Golden Trident trophy, with the Saint-Antoine, Rhône and Allard herds (adults €10 and €5 for under 12s) .

The next meeting will take place on Saturday June 8, at 4:30 p.m. It will be the Camargue Paca league race in which the Saint-Antoine, Mogador and Richebois herds will participate. As well as trainee shaves (adults €10 and €5 for children under 12).

The 2nd series of the Camargue race for the Trident d’or trophy will take place on Sunday June 9, at 4:30 p.m. The participating herds are to be defined after the qualifications for the 1st series (adults €10 and €5 for children under 12 years).

Two meetings toro swimming pool

The Saint-Rémy de Provence and Bouillargues raseteur schools are expected on Friday July 5, at 8:30 p.m., for the Camargue race. The Diderot Langlade and La Galère herds will also be there (adults €7 and free for under 12s).

Then it’s time for the toro swimming pool with the Maillet manade, Saturday July 6, 7 p.m. (adults €5 and free for under 12s).

Friday July 26, at 8:30 p.m., meet for the Camargue race with the raseteurs school of Saint-Rémy and Sommières and the Rhône and Gillet manades (adults €7 and free for under 12s).

Second swimming pool toro with the Lautier manade this time, Saturday July 27, at 7 p.m. (€5 and free for under 12s).

For fans of bullfighting and cow games, remember the date of Saturday August 17, at 6:30 p.m. The Agu herd will take part (free). The same day, at 8:30 p.m., JL Music will host a bodega evening with on-site catering (free).

The next day, Sunday August 18, at 4:30 p.m., the Camargue race, Fontaines and Paul-Jean trophies will be on the program for the Cavellini, Diderot Langlade and Chauvet herds (adults €10 and €5 for under 12s).

Next, Tuesday August 20, at 4 p.m., the great Capelado; at 4:30 p.m., the 15th Fontaines trophy and the 28th Paul-Jean trophy with the herds Pantaï, Fanfonne Guillerme and Ribaud Tiberio. Prize giving on the track after the race (adults €10 and €5 for under 12s).

Note that the Lou Touréou Pernen club will also organize, for the heritage festival on Saturday September 21, Lou carri and plan race.
