Valérie Hayer falls again, Raphaël Glucksmann climbs by one point

In an election, everything is a question of dynamics, and one thing is certain: Emmanuel Macron’s speech on Europe at the Sorbonne this Thursday, April 25 will not have changed the main evolution in voting intentions in the European elections since the beginning of April: Valérie Hayer, head of the Renaissance list of the presidential majority, has continued to decline in the polls since April 8, when the third in the polls, Raphaël Glucksmann, head of the Place Publique-Socialist Party list, has continued to progress.

Thus, during the rolling poll (average of the day’s polls and the two previous ones) from Ifop this Friday, April 26, commissioned for LCI, “Le Figaro” and Sud Radio, Valérie Hayer lost another 1 point compared to the previous one, with 16.5% of voting intentions, far behind the far-right list led by Jordan Bardella of the National Rally, who is in the lead with 31.5% of voting intentions, or 0.5 points more than in the previous survey. But the Renaissance candidate could, if the dynamic continues, soon move to third place, with her competitor Raphaël Glucksmann getting more and more dangerously close to her. It is thus given 14% voting intentions and recovers 1 more point. In comparison, during the April 8 poll, Jordan Bardella’s list was already at 32%, Valérie Hayer lost 2.5 points during this period when Raphaël Glucksmann collected 3.

Other stable lists

Behind the leading trio, voting intentions remain stable: the ecologists, led by Marie Toussaint, went from 6.5% on April 8 to 8% on April 26, tied with the list of François-Xavier Bellamy of the Republicans (it was at 7.5% on April 8), just ahead of that led by Manon Aubry of La France insoumise, which stagnates at 7.5% and is 2 points ahead of the list led by Marion Maréchal of Reconquête!, which has lost 0.5 points since the start of the month.
