A man died on Sunday evening after receiving numerous blows.
Around thirty died on Sunday evening in an apartment in the commune of Salles-du-Gardon, a commune located between Alès and Grand-Combe. According to information collected by the gendarmes of the Alès company, the victim had been invited this Sunday evening to the home of her future attacker. The two men had known each other since last November and had many drinks. A witness was also there, the victim’s grandmother. The latter claimed that her grandson was sitting on the sofa when he received blows from the owner of the house for an undetermined reason at this stage.
The perpetrator, a 53-year-old man, explained to investigators that he had struck a blow, ” while the autopsy carried out this morning at the IML in Nîmes shows that there were several violent blows, particularly to the head“, underlines the prosecutor of Alès, Abdelkrim Grini. ” The victim died as a result of the blows.”, adds the boss of the Alès public prosecutor’s office. The criminal case heads to the Nîmes judicial court this Tuesday where a judicial investigation for “murder” must be opened this afternoon.
