Logisolutions company inaugurated on Wednesday a high-rise warehouse in the Aïn Sbaâ-Sidi Bernoussi industrial zone in Casablanca, the first platform of its kind in Morocco intended for logistics activity.
Built on an area of 15,000 m2, 10,500 of which are covered, and over 20 metres high, this platform has 25,000 storage pallets on a racking height of 18 metres and 16 loading docks.
In a speech during the inauguration ceremony of this giant structure, the Director General of the Moroccan Logistics Development Agency (AMDL), Ghassane El Machrfi indicated that this project is part of the investments that benefit from the support of his agency, recalling that this high-rise warehouse called ”LogisSolutions New York” won the ”Logistics Real Estate of the Year” award during the 7th edition of the Moroccan Logistics Trophies (MLA 2024).
He also noted that the private sector is an important partner in the development of logistics in Morocco, encouraging private operators to be actively involved in the success of the national strategy in the field of logistics.
While ensuring that the AMDL is resolutely committed to promoting national competitiveness in this area to make it a major lever for economic growth, he highlighted the projects launched by this agency throughout the Kingdom with a view to developing logistics zones with the programming of projects extending over an area of 750 hectares by 2028.
For his part, the general manager of LogiSolutions, Amine Benkirane, noted, in a statement to the press, the importance of this high-rise warehouse allowing to benefit from a greater storage capacity and thus fully meet the needs of customers, given that high-rise shelving is the best solution to optimize the surface area of the building.
Founded in 2018, LogiSolutions is a Moroccan leader in logistics solutions, specializing in the management of consumer products. It operates in the fields of transport and warehousing for various sectors, including industry, consumer goods and distribution more generally.
This inauguration took place in the presence of the governor of the prefecture of the districts of Sidi Bernoussi, Nabil Kharoubi, as well as numerous entrepreneurs and logistics professionals.
