According to a Source close to Paris newsaround 11:50 a.m., the police were called to a “suspicious vehicle parked near a synagogue”, located at 8 rue George Bernard Shaw.

On site, they noticed that “a long black bag was visible in the passenger compartment”. In addition, the owner of the vehicle is already known to the police for “participation in a criminal association with a view to preparing an act of terrorism”.

After collecting all this information, the police made the decision to install “a security perimeter” and to involve technicians from the central laboratory, specialized in the fight against explosive, chemical and fire risks, and a dog team. . After a few hours, the security perimeter is lifted, because the bag ultimately contained only “personal effects.” »
