At the trial, this Tuesday, April 16, at the Mamoudzou court, the public prosecutor requested a month’s suspended prison sentence and a €3,000 fine against the boat’s pilot. During a night dive in the Mayotte lagoon in 2019, a Cholet resident was seriously injured in the leg by the propeller. The defense requested acquittal. Judgment reserved on April 23.
