We love chocolate in all its forms: runny, soft, cookie-like or creamy, we could eat it at every meal without getting tired of it. But our favorite chocolate dessert is definitely the fondant.

So, we couldn’t resist trying out content creator Claire Grand-Clement’s “grandma’s recipe”. On her Instagram account in la_cuisinedeclaire, she shared her version of this iconic dessert with her 61 followers. What we like about her recipe? Its interior that looks just like a ganache and its light crust that crunches under the tooth!

In addition, this cake is very quick to prepare and requires 5 basic ingredients for its design. Want to try it at home? Follow the instructions!

For this recipe for 4 people, you will need:

Start by melting the chocolate and butter together over low heat in a bain-marie or in the microwave if you need to go faster. Once completely melted, add the sugar and mix vigorously to incorporate the elements well. Then gradually add the eggs and mix between each addition. Add the flour and mix until you obtain a homogeneous preparation. Pour everything into a previously buttered and floured cake tin, then bake the cake for about 30 minutes at 160 °C.
