The magic of the Cowboys Fringants at the Festival d’été de Québec will not be transported to Sherbrooke on Friday evening: the organization of the Fête du Lac des nations has announced that the group has canceled its show at the event.

It is because of the treatment of singer Karl Tremblay, who is suffering from prostate cancer, that the group must forfeit. This was also the case at the Festirame, in Alma, at the beginning of the month.
The Laval group Simple Plan will take the stage at 10:30 p.m. to make up for the absence of the Cowboys Fringants.
The performance of the Cowboys Fringants in Quebec, a wave of love offered by the 90,000 spectators on site marked the history of the FEQ.
“I was on stage for the song les étoiles filantes with Paul Piché and Robert Charlebois who were next to me and Robert told me that he hadn’t seen that since the Superfrancofête with Félix.
