A fire broke out in an apartment in the city center in Orne

A fire broke out around 7:30 p.m. this Thursday, January 23, in an apartment on rue Romain Darchy in L'Aigle (Orne), above the “Au panetier” bakery. The fire spread to another home.

Significant resources were deployed to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring houses; 30 firefighters were on the scene.

The home was empty at the time and no one was injured. At 9:30 p.m., the fire was under control and firefighters were busy clearing the rubble.
