Les Arts’Scénics continue to unveil the program for their 2025 festival which will take place on June 27 and 28 on the promenades of Lisloise, where reggae, rock, hip-hop, electronic and symphonic music will intersect with two new names on the bill.
For these two new ones, we first cite Orange Blossom which embodies a musical style that mixes various origins of Arab and Western influences, the union of electro and world music by overturning the boundaries of musical genres. Their new album “Spells from the drunken sirens” released in March 2024 is an event that delights aficionados and is ready to meet new fans. Inexhaustible traveler, it was in Dakar that he stopped The Black Cat to record with GUTS his fourth album “Tigre Qui Pleure”. A mix of musicians from West Africa and Cuba, under the Colombian flute of the feline, jazz mixes with hip-hop, traditional with digital, French with Wolof and Spanish. Two new facets of an exceptional musical journey which is announced during these two days at the end of June which launches the summer festival season.
A little reminder of the programming already revealed with the emblematic figures of the reggae scene Dub Inc & Tiken Jah Fakoly and after a notable appearance in 2022, Deluxe will make its comeback with a new show as part of its new tour. The Chinese Man trio will come to present their new live performance. The Sons of Teuhpu will also be present for their thirty years on stage.
The Tambour Tambour group, the fruit of the brilliant association between Barcella, Ordoeuvre and Syrano, will also be present and the KKC x CPC collective, a daring encounter between rap and traditional music.
