He will not celebrate his 50th birthday. Macumba, a cult nightclub whose last establishment was part of the resistance in Englos, near Lille (North) vhas definitively lowered the curtain in February.

The announcement came like a hammer: in a publication relayed on Facebook, Henri Souque, founder and CEO of Macumba and Dimitri Derepas, director of Macumba in Lille, announced that the network’s last nightclub, inaugurated in 1975, will close permanently its doors on February 23, 2025.
