After losing the mayorship of Ixelles, Christos Doulkeridis leaves politics: “I stay with my dignity”
“There are some slacks”
After having “took time” following the elections, Christos Doulkeridis says he wants to turn the page on active politics. “I maintain a great interest in politics, especially in the extremely dangerous situation in the world. After working with his parents in the family grocery store and the markets, the Ixellois has always known politics in his professional career. For his new role, he hopes to return to the areas in which he has gained experience. “I have worked in many areas that have fascinated me, whether it be security, housing, social issues, culture.”
On a personal level, the Ixellois does not hide it: “there are moments of slack, strange moments. After being so active, it’s funny to suddenly find yourself in a void. But sometimes it is also useful in life.“
