The director did not know that Marguerite was going to participate in Star Academy. “But I immediately noticed that she had something special, that she had a particular charm and that she had a particular ease. In particular a knack for comedy.”

And the filmmaker, awarded the César for comedy People’s Namesto conclude: “She’s a good actress, that’s for sure. She really has a sense of rhythm. I got along very well with her, she’s very funny.”

Expected at the cinema on April 16, The mix of genres brings together Léa Drucker, Benjamin Lavernhe and Melha Bedia. In this comedy, a police officer with conservative ideas, Simone, infiltrates a feminist collective suspected of complicity in murder.

As her cover-up threatens to be exposed, Simone diverts attention by randomly accusing a man of sexually assaulting her. But the man she points to, a failed actor, is innocent. The accusation becomes public.

Eliminated at the gates of the semi-final in December, Marguerite Dedeyan will nevertheless participate in the season 12 tour of Star Academy. She will notably be on March 18 at the Accor Arena with Ebony, Maïa, Charles, Franck, Maureen, Marine and Ulysse.
