Friday morning near Cagnes-sur-Mer, Coralie Pacaut was the victim of an accident. She tells us: “We were teaching Jean-Claude Rouget’s new riders to enter and exit the starting stalls when my filly slipped out of the stalls and I hit the PVC field. Result: I have a fracture of the navicular bone on my left foot. The pain is present and, for the moment, the doctor has prescribed 3 weeks of rest.” Coralie Pacaut finished the 2024 season with 57 victories and a Women’s Bronze Crop despite two big falls which had sidelined her from competition for two months.
