The book “The Major Projects of the Republic”, prepared by the Anadolu Agency (AA), with the contribution of the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, has been put on sale.
The book is composed of 9 chapters and includes the main investments and projects carried out since the proclamation of the Republic until today.
The main parts of the book include investments in transportation, communications, health, energy and water resources, defense industry, technology and industry, culture and arts, sports and economic structures.
The book, which reveals how far the country has come thanks to the milestones achieved over the past 100 years and serves as a guide for those who want to understand this process, presents the details of numerous projects carried out in almost all areas.
This book, which is the most concrete proof of the projects carried out by the Republic of Türkiye with local means, introduces readers to important infrastructure investments such as the July 15 Martyrs’ Bridge, Osmangazi and Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridges , the Eurasia tunnel, Marmaray, Istanbul airport, or even high-speed trains. It includes projects carried out in the fields of technology, health, defense and aviation industry, construction, culture, energy and architecture.

The work also describes the measures taken to increase the country’s production capacity and the development of national industry. In addition to the projects carried out in the field of health since the first years of the Republic, numerous advances are described, ranging from the national fighter plane to the Turkish scientific base in Antarctica, as well as from the Togg electric car to renewable energies .
The inauguration dates and characteristics of these projects, which are closely followed around the world, are described with the integrated structures. Presented in an encyclopedic form with infographics and photographs, high-quality paper, the projects also present a picture of the reality of “Strong Türkiye”.
