Sexual violence. The Conference of Bishops calls for the opening of an investigation into Abbot Pierre

The president of the Conference of Bishops of France (CEF) Éric de Moulins Beaufort announced this Friday on RMC that he had “taken legal action” at the beginning of the week to ask it to open an investigation into Abbot Pierre . “I wrote a report to the Paris Prosecutor to ask him to consider opening an investigation into Abbé Pierre” in order to “be able to investigate possible other victims or possible accomplices” or “non-denunciations”, he added, repeating his “horror” after the new revelations of sexual violence this week targeting the priest.
