Jaida Parker, WWE wrestler on the NXT side, has found herself at the heart of a controversy for several hours. It all started when she liked a post on Instagram. This post referred to the passage of a bill by the United States House of Representatives, aimed at banning the participation of transgender athletes in women’s sports in federally funded schools.
On X (Twitter), a fan drew attention to this like from Jaida Parker and some people started accusing her of transphobia. The wrestler reacted to the accusations by stating:
“[Il] wants to make a mess and that’s okay, ignorance is contagious. But they’re not going to attack me just because my point of view is different from theirs. They obviously don’t know what the term ‘transphobic’ actually means.”
“It’s 2025 and one opinion annoys you.”
“I support the LGBTQ community, but I’m also a woman who played high-level college sports. If you don’t understand that…I don’t know what else to tell you.”
