A celebration that highlights the mimosa
From the 17th century and more precisely on Sundays, nobles had custom of take their carriages out on the main avenue.
This habit which came from the south of France, abandoned during the Revolution, was taken up again at the beginning of the 20th century on the occasion of carnival parades. After the war, the inhabitants decided to celebrate the beauty of mimosa which flowers everywhere on the hills. How ?
In highlighting the yellow flower on flower carts crossing the village, a beautiful and festive moment which celebrates the coming of spring, to the greatest happiness of all.
