As in previous years, the Napoleonic Remembrance Association brought together its members in Paris on December 2 to celebrate the Battle of Austerlitz in 1805. During this event, Gérard Fénelon was decorated as a knight of the Royal Order of the Two -Siciles by Prince Joachim Murat, grand master of the Order, created in 1808 in the Kingdom of Naples and the Two Sicilies during the Empire Napoleonic.
This distinction belongs to him in view of his mission at the Murat Museum from 2006 to 2022. Very honored and moved Gérard Fénelon expressed his very deep gratitude to the Murat family, the Friends of the Murat Museum and the Napoleonic Souvenir.
