The young artist, from Nîmes, Anaïs Ribas Carrion, based in Seville, presented her new choreographic creation as part of the Off flamenco festival on Sunday at 6 p.m. in the François Cadenet room, rue Richelieu.
Having completed her baccalaureate, Anaïs Ribas Carrion chose to go to Seville to train and develop a career as a flamenco dancer. When she was very young, she went to dance at the Macarena in Nîmes. It must be said that his family, with a strong Spanish connotation, is oriented towards flamenco guitar.
Intruder
With her company, two dancers and a guitarist, she presented Intrusa where with strength, elegance and a deep zapateado, she transmitted the emotion of flamenco in a style that was both classic and contemporary.
Her story in Intrusa is that of a young girl (herself) who will discover music, a world other than the one in which she lives. Intruder because she had to integrate into Seville, who did not expect her. A deep respect for Anaïs Ribas Carrion who imposes her style while keeping the basics of flamenco.
-With Juan José Amador, from a gypsy family from Triana and Roberto Montano on vocals, Juan Anguita on guitar, she delighted the audience who came to listen to her and see her dance, hoping to meet her next time at the Theater. To be continued.
