“Vincent is family. When we parted, I knew we wouldn’t lose each other. But I didn’t know what to do. We had just spent ten years together, we had a little girl, I was barely thirty, I wasn’t on my tenth separation, so the grief… It was very hard. It took me a while to accept the idea that my daughter would live with divorced parents, me who had never experienced that. But we invent, and we build,” she confided to “Psychologies” in 2022.

“Today, we support each other from a distance, and we are close enough in life to be partners on screen. It’s very, very weird, but we manage to play it. Ultimately, I’m not that far from the family model: we love each other for life, even if we love each other differently. We did this thing. Not without difficulty, but we did it. It’s precious, we know that. So we don’t dirty it…

As for her recent romantic relationships since her separation from Vincent Lindon, Sandrine Kiberlain prefers to keep it a secret.
