The Beninese artist Makef, a contraction of his name Makoutodé Enagnon Fulbert, has acquired notoriety over the past ten years with his series of drawings in black ballpoint pen on white sheets in school notebook format. Meticulous drawings with strong light intensity that speak of daily life, spirituality, sometimes social criticism. Some of them are currently presented at the Vallois gallery in Paris until February 1, 2025.
