CThis is not the first time that the Yellow Pieces gala has brought together global stars. Kid Cudi and Pharell Williams were present for the first edition in 2023 at the Zénith in Paris. Last year, at the Accor Arena in Paris-Bercy, the South Korean Lisa of BlackPink and the rapper A$ap Rocky, encouraged by his partner present in the public, a certain Rihanna, contributed to the echo international charity concert.
For the 2025 edition, scheduled for January 23, the room will be even larger and the casting, just as prestigious. At the Défense Arena in Nanterre, American singer Katy Perry, who has not sung in Paris for six years, will make her comeback to France. Burna boy, the Nigerian master of afro-beat and the R’n’B singer John Legend will also be on the bill. On the French scene, Maitre Gims, already present in 2024, has confirmed his participation, and, according to The Parisianthe name of Aya Nakamura is circulating but has not been confirmed. Faithful to its tradition of eclecticism, the gala will also welcome figures from classical music, such as the virtuoso pianist Lang Lang, the cellist Gautier Capuçon, the South African soprano Pretty Yende and the Lamoureux Orchestra conducted by Adrien Perruchon.
Since its creation by the Hospital Foundation in 1989, the Yellow Pieces operation has collected more than 111 million euros, supporting nearly 209 projects in 2023 to improve the daily lives of sick children and adolescents. The organizers of the gala are betting on almost tripling last year’s capacity, going from 13,000 to 35,000 places. The price of tickets will range from 50 euros to 80 euros, and the ticket office will be open this Monday, January 13 at 2 p.m. For those who cannot afford a place, the evening will be broadcast later on france.tv.
