As usual, 70 members of the Senior Racing Association (which has a total of 200) were present for lunch this Saturday at the Vincennes racecourse, a few days before the Prix de Cornulier. Responded to the call of President François Brohier, who will celebrate his 91st birthday on January 15 – at the red tie center – notably the man ofIdeal of GazeauEugène Lefèvre or the former mayor of Cabourg Didier Van Themsche, while the vice-presidents of the SETF Joël Séché and Olivier de Seyssel were also there. On the association’s program in 2025, a one-week stay with full board at the Miléade hotel village in Roquebrune-sur-Argens (Var) with the highlight of the show on March 9 in Cagnes-sur-Mer, the Grand Critérium de Speed of the Côte d’Azur (Gr. I). In June, a morning at the Grosbois museum is planned on the day of the President of the Republic Prize in Vincennes, as well as a day at the Dozulé racecourse in August and perhaps a visit to the Haras du Pin.

Saturday, during the presentation of the Senior Racing Prize trophy, there were people on the podium to welcome Alexandre Abrivard following his victory in the sulky of Dry Winner. A filled basket awaited the son of Laurent and Valérie Abrivard in which a small vial of Calvados had not been forgotten.
Eugène Lefèvre, 82 years old, on the left (Idéal du Gazeau in 1981 and 1983), and François Brohier, 91 years old (Masina in 1961) together have three victories in the Prix d’Amérique.
