For this weekend of recovery, after the holidays, there is plenty to do at Le Mans. Here is 10 outing ideasselected by Actu Le Mans, to be done on Saturday January 11 and Sunday January 12, 2025.
1. Coco in signings
The designer Coco will be signing for her latest work “Poor Beasts!” Journey to the heart of the animal condition.” A personal and documented account of this foray behind the scenes of “animal welfare”.
Saturday January 11 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Espace Bis of the Bulle bookstore (rue Saint-Martin) in Le Mans.
2. Euphorie, the new Flambée show
The Flambée review presents a new show, from January 11, Euphorie, a unique, original Music hall, mixing humor, emotion, dance and live music on an original story.

3. Colette au music-hall
To resurrect the woman who was at the same time a writer, actress, president of the Académie Goncourt, journalist, editor, advertiser and even owner of a beauty salon, the author and performer of this Music-Hall Colette wanted to , as its name suggests, to develop a real music hall worthy of the Roaring Twenties… In partnership with the National Institute of Music Hall Arts, an exhibition of cabaret costumes can be discovered in the theater hall.

4. Two film debate sessions
Two films will be screened during a film debate this weekend at the arthouse cinema. On the program: Saturday January 11 at 6 p.m., “Animal Farm” (1954) and Sunday January 12 “Citizen Kane” by Orson Welles (1941).

5. Guided tour: candles and stamens
From the 17th century, the capital of Maine stood out for the dynamism of its manufacturing and commercial activities. Etamines (fine black woolen fabric) and wax are the wealth of the city, an economic activity that has become flourishing.

6. Memory in song
With “Chanson-Mémoire”, the city of Le Mans and Le Mans Cité Chanson offer a show based on interactivity, which gives pride of place to emotion and sharing.

7. Church concert
The “Le Pré en Musique” association invites the Koros duo with Ariane Le Fournis (mezzo-soprano) and Lionel Le Fournis (marimba)

8. “Kessel, freedom at all costs”
Favorite of the public and the press Avignon Festival off 2024, “Kessel, freedom at all costs” evokes the memory of this writer, great reporter and adventurer.
Sunday January 12 at 4 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Paul-Scarron Theater (Place des Jacobins). Prices: from 10 to 18 €. Online ticketing.
9. Last days for the ice rink
The Ferris wheel has been dismantled but the ice rink remains accessible on Place des Jacobins. This is the last weekend to enjoy it!
Prices: €6 (skates included); free for children under 3 years old (wearing gloves required).
10. McLaren at the museum
The “A name for eternity” exhibition looks back on the McLaren saga, with 14 vehicles having driven all over the world, including the Le Mans circuit in 1995: that year, the brand won the 24 Hours. Its creator Bruce McLaren himself triumphed in 1966 with Chris Amon, on Ford, against Ferrari. A duel visible on screen in the film with Matt Damon and Christian Bale.
