After a dig from Nagui, the singer Slimane responds to him in song (EXCLUSIVE)

On November 7, the Saint-Étienne public prosecutor’s office announced the opening of an investigation into “sexual harassment aggravated by the use of a digital or electronic medium“. This followed a complaint filed for accusations of sexual harassment against Slimane by a former technician working on the singer’s tour. According to the complainant, the facts took place in December 2023 after a concert at the Zénith in Saint-Étienne. According to a source close to the matter at BFMTV, “the facts would have taken place in two stages on the ‘Cupid Tour’ started 18 days earlier: on December 17, 2023, after the Slimane concert, then on the night of December 17 to 18, 2023“. The technician accusing Slimane claimed that the singer pushed him against a wall and asked him for sex. After refusing, the complainant said he received “several dozen messages of a sexual nature” during the night from the artist.

Nagui takes a dig at Slimane

Then, on November 19, our colleagues from Le Parisien revealed that another technician filed a complaint with the Saint-Étienne public prosecutor’s office against the singer for acts of sexual assault and attempted sexual assault, which allegedly took place also on the night of December 17 to 18, 2023. Last December 30 while Nagui presented a new episode of Don’t forget the lyrics, Benoît chose to confront his competitor on a song by Slimane baptized “Paname or Pan Am”. Nagui then launched an extract from the two titles with which the maestro had the choice and quickly interrupted that of Slimane, concluding with a “That’s enough.”

Quite surprised, the champion then asked him if he didn’t like the singer. “We will let others decide in any case what to think“, Mélanie Page’s husband then confided. Benoît then confirmed his choice to sing Slimane’s song and Nagui then concluded: “Very good, when it’s you who sing it, that suits me”. If Slimane had not yet reacted to this dig, he finally did so last night, Wednesday January 8, during his concert at the Accor Arena Bercy as part of his “Cupidon Tour”. On stage with his musicians, he launched with irony, before performing “Paname or Pan Am” : “I’m going to sing a song that Nagui likes”.
