“I metaphysical quarter of an hour j’introspective. Metric implode. Stir my depths. Cyclical past. Sublime present. Future full of uncertainties but I’m confident.» We are here on p. 231 of True Face of the rain, that Jonathan Dumani publishes with Lausanne editions La Veilleuse. Subject of the passage: an indoor cavalcade under LSD, a few years ago, on a beach in Cabo Polonio, in Uruguay. We continue, same page: “Not sure what my hobby is. But I spend so much that’s for sure. I’m going in. All dimensions. I parallel. Almost he I’m talking to the wing. My breath flies perpendicular to the sand.” Lysergic crushing of morphosemantic structures? Perhaps, but let’s imagine instead a tuning fork: the tuning into a language and an experience.
“Tuning”, the dictionaries tell us, is “the action of tuning several circuits to the same resonant frequency”. The term is generally used in radio physics, but nothing prevents us from moving it towards the categorization of an individual journey, a character, and a juggling with language.
