We see Roger Moore surrounded by his wife Luisa Mattioli and his three children Geoffrey, Deborah and Christian, but also alongside other stars such as Kirk Douglas, Olivia Newton-John and Elton John with whom he shares a game of tennis , reports the BBC.

“A father who documented an era”

According to the British channel, these images were found by one of Roger Moore's sons, Geoffrey, who got his hands on old video cassettes kept in the cupboards and garage of their family home in Switzerland.

“He filmed like any father would film his children. He was just a father recording, documenting an era. I think it was also because this camera was new, so he wanted to use it.” , confides Geoffrey to the BBC.

Born into a modest background, in Stockwell, south London, Roger Moore was revealed to the general public in the early 1960s thanks to his role as Simon Templar in the series The Saint.

In 1972, the actor was then asked by the producers of James Bond, Harry Saltzman and Albert R. Broccoli, to succeed Sean Connery in the role of the famous secret agent. A character that Roger Moore played until 1985 before being replaced by Timothy Dalton.
