The host of “The Voice” and “Star Academy” announces the death of one of his loved ones.

“A faithful friend whom I considered a brother”. Used to sharing black and white photos of his creation, this time it is to announce sad news. Nikos Aliagas published a photograph on his social networks this Sunday, December 22, to pay tribute to one of his deceased loved ones.

“I don't have the words to express the immense pain of losing a friend. Death did its disastrous work a few days before Christmas, without warning. I think with emotion of his children, his wife, his mother, his brother… A good man has left, his name was Kostas Hiotis.he comments to accompany the image where we can see the man smiling.

These words are written in French, then the host then writes in Greek: “Words seem useless when the pain of a loss is unbearable. Kostas Hiotis, a scientist friend, took his last breath so unexpectedly. He was a good man. A pure soul with a smile for everyone. So young… Prayers and thoughts on behalf of my entire family go to his wife, his children, his mother, his brother and all his people going through this unjust and cruel ordeal. May the smile of his soul be eternal and accompany us. May God rest his soul”.

Support for the “Star Academy” teams

Several members of the “Star Academy” team and former candidates gave their support to the host. They express themselves in comments following the example of Karima Charni, Cécile Chaduteau or Elodie Fregé and Mathieu Johann. Everyone comments with heart, black or red emojis and doves.

Messages of support which join those posted by anonymous people. “Don't be sad that you lost him, be happy that you knew him», “I understand their pain, which is even more difficult a few days before Christmas” et “Departure unfortunately is always sad, only time gives way to good memories”join the customary expressions of condolence.
