«I leave Slam pour Everyone wants to take their placeon France 2“… Last April, Cyril Féraud, who never loses his youthful demeanor or his smile, created a surprise by announcing to the Parisian abandon the program that he had launched and grown for 16 years. But it was obviously to come back better! Because less than a year has passed and Cyril Féraud is already return to the show !
Théo Curin fans can rest assured, he will remain at the head of the program. It is as a guest that we are going to see Cyril Féraud again on this set that he knows so well, as he confided to our colleagues at Leisure TV. The one who, for his greatest happiness, became the father of little Tim this summer, first returned to the reasons which pushed him to leave Slam. «It was time to start a new adventure. I wasn't tired of Slambut I had difficulty renewing myself after having shot so many issues», he explains to our colleagues.
“It's rare to have good stories on television.” notes Cyril Féraud
A decision that he regrets in no way since he fully blossoms at the helm of Everyone wants to take their place where he succeeded Jarry: “From the first broadcast on the first day of filming, I knew I had made the right decision, assures the one whose true face we recently discovered behind the scenes. I laugh at every show. I hope it’s communicative and contributes to the success of Everyone wants to take their place since the start of the school year.» A success marked by audiences -1.65 million viewers on average- up slightly compared to those of its predecessor.
But Tuesday, December 31, will be a homecoming for Cyril, who will celebrate his 40th birthday next March. On the occasion of the broadcast of the 4000th issue of Slamthe production and Théo Curin decided to invite Cyril. The show has of course already been filmed and has given rise to outpourings of joy tinged with nostalgia for the happy dad, changed by the arrival of his baby. “It was very moving to reunite with the teams with whom we made this show over all these years“, confided Cyril Féraud to Leisure TV adding about his successor: “He's someone I really like and who has a lot of talent. It was the best choice for Slam» before concluding: “Great stories are rare on television. With Théo, we were both happy with this passing of the baton.»
