The third evening of Christmas concerts promises to be lively. Organized by the Saran music school, it takes place on Friday at the Tête Noire theater.
Aurélie Hume, director of the school, invites the public to let themselves be carried away: “Come and discover the students’ work with jazz, rock, African percussion and French variety. »
Under the direction of their teachers – David Hazak (bass), Frédéric Lelaidier (electric guitar), Éric Luxey (drums), Stéphane Montigny (trombone), Baptiste Dubreuil (jazz piano) and Daniella Rabier (vocals), the students will offer a performance rich and varied collective.
On the program, pieces revisited with creativity, mixing instruments and voices in captivating combinations: drums, bass, saxophone, electric guitar and vocals or even a vocal-piano duo accompanied by a rhythm section.
The public will also be able to discover vibrant interpretations with an impressive ensemble of eight trombones and three singers as well as orchestrations combining bass, drums, piano, guitar, flute and clarinet.
Finally, classics like All I Want for Christmas Is You de Mariah Carey, Lemon Tree the Fools Garden or Shallow a song performed by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, will conclude the evening, enhanced by the piano and the harmony of the choirs.
