More than 150,000 visitors came to attend the unusual Christmases of Carpentras in 2023. The 17th edition began this Saturday, December 14 and will last until January 5, taking over the city center, in the streets and symbolic places of the Comtadine city. The festivities will culminate on December 21 with an air show dedicated to the work of Jules Verne.

Illuminations, concerts, street shows, Carpentras has put on its festive clothes for the 17th edition of unusual Christmases.

Carpentras turns into a magical, magical village for three weeks, to inspire wonder and bring a little warmth during the holidays. Artists from the four corners of the world come to perform during street shows and unique events with original artistic performances that bring the magic of Christmas to life in every corner of the city. For children,Workshops and creative activities are offered while waiting for Christmas concerts and music.

And for those with a sweet tooth, the Christmas market allows you to stock up on sweets and gifts to prolong the holiday spirit.
