Willow Nightingale and Jamie Hayter faced off in the AEW finals to see which wrestler will have the chance to represent the company for the Wrestle Dynasty 2025 Women’s Cup.
The clash took place at AEW Collision on December 14, 2024 and Willow Nightingale won the match. As Hayter wanted to finish Nightingale off, Nightingale was able to knock her down with a Powerbomb for the three count.
Following the match, Nightingale and Hayter wanted to congratulate each other, but the lights went out and Julia Hart made her return! Julia Hart does her DDT on Hayter and poses in the ring. A return which officially launches the first rivalry for Julia Hart.
At the NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty 2025 PPV, a 4-Way Match between wrestlers from the 4 different companies will take place and will determine which one will win the trophy. In addition to the trophy, the winner will receive a women’s title match at the company of her choice.
