Sauveterre-de-Rouergue. Mixed success for the Christmas market

The Royal Bastide had brought together, under the aegis of the Pays Ségali Arts and Crafts Centre, numerous stands and stalls to inaugurate its winter market on Saturday, December 7. On the program for this edition, around forty craftsmen and artists from various corners of who will be joined on Sunday by local producers.

The team from the Pays Ségali arts and crafts center invited the actors to come and share this moment dedicated to local creation. The opportunity to find original and handmade gifts for the end of year celebrations. During the market weekend, L’Ancre, the boutique, library and museum area of ​​the Pays Ségali arts and crafts center, was open. You could discover the original creations of the association’s artisans and artists in the collective shop and immerse yourself in the creative process by exploring the museum, its permanent exhibition “Professions to create. Artist/Artisans?” and its temporary exhibition room.

Various activities took place throughout the weekend for young and old, such as a traditional music group and demonstrations of know-how.

A great initiative which unfortunately did not benefit from any particular clearings or favorable temperatures, but the desire to do well was there and the desire to liven up the Bastide for many years to come.
