Phil Collins back behind the drums for a documentary

Seeing Phil Collins playing drums again will not fail to attract fans of the artist, author of one of the most famous tom descents in the history of his art (Cf. In the Air Tonight at 3.16).

Handicapped by back problems (which cause terrible pain when he holds his drumsticks), affected by type 2 diabetes which causes “drop foot” syndrome and prevents him from getting up correctly, Phil Collins unfortunately stored barrels for a while.

In 2022, for the Genesis farewell concert he was replaced by his son, Nic Collins, but kept the microphone to sing. The emotion remained intact.

Phil Collins not only fully declares himself a drummer, but gets behind his drum kit; a simple thing for thousands of drummers, but a test for him.
