Queen Camilla is going through a difficult time. Since the beginning of November, Charles III's wife has been affected by a lung infection. A persistent health problem which forced her to step back from her royal obligations.
After her absence from several events, the 77-year-old woman assured that she was starting to feel better. On November 12, she declared in particular: “I think I'm on the mend. But it always takes a little time to get rid of this stuff”. However, she has since suffered a relapse and her state of health is worrying.

Queen Camilla suffers from “persistent” side effects
On Tuesday December 3, the royal family will receive
the emir of QatarSheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his wife Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani. An event for which Queen Camilla will have to “adapt your appearances”.
According to Rebecca English, Prince William's mother-in-law is
always in pain. In fact, she feels “'persistent' side effects – including fatigue – from a nasty viral chest infection”. Despite this bad news, the royal correspondent specifies that “no changes were made to the diagnosis or treatment received”. Queen Camilla would simply “need time to rest and fully recover”.
Charles III's wife canceled her attendance at a ceremony
If Queen Camilla will participate in the state visit of the Emir of Qatar, she has decided to restrict his appearances. She will therefore not attend the Horse Guards ceremony. Rebecca English specifies, however, that she will be “present at the state luncheon and banquet”.
Despite this absence, King Charles III will be able to count on the support of other members of his family. Le prince William
et Kate Middleton will thus be responsible for welcoming guests outdoors. They will also join the Buckingham Palace lunch. Four days later, the Princess of Wales will then make another appearance as she will organize
the traditional Christmas concert. An event in which Queen Camilla should also participate.
