The sweet Christmas photo of Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene with their twins

This December 2, the Prince's Palace shared the family photo of Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene with their twins, which will be shared for the end-of-year celebrations. This year, the Monegasque princely family posed in front of a fireplace and a traditional Christmas tree, creating a warm and very simple shot, in contrast to the more sparkling greeting cards of previous years.

A warm and simple greeting card shared by the princely family

Every year, the Prince's Palace sends thousands of greeting cards all over the world, to relatives of the princely family and to all the people who have written to the sovereign or his wife. The photo of the postcard is also shared on the Palais' social networks. Unlike other years, Prince Albert II of Monaco, 66 years old, Princess Charlène, 46 years old, hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella put away their evening outfits to put on warm clothes, in soft colors.

Princess Charlene wears a wool turtleneck sweater. Hereditary Prince Jacques wears a light brown sweater almost identical to his mother's. While her twin sister, Princess Gabriella, wears an off-white sweater like her father. The twins, who will celebrate their 10th birthday in a few days, appear as wise as pictures.

The contrast is striking between the 2023 end-of-year photo and that of 2024. Last year, Princess Charlene and Princess Gabriella both had much shorter hair. Above all, the staging is totally different. This year, the family poses in front of a fireplace, giving a cocooning appearance with very soft colors. Last year, Prince Albert II and Hereditary Prince Jacques wore a tuxedo with velvet bow ties, while Princess Charlene and Princess Gabriella wore velvet dresses. The family posed in a prestigious setting, in front of a golden tree.
