Ahead of this Tuesday’s qualifying at Domaine de Grosbois, in which Thibaut Dromigny qualified brilliantly Mahel of the Hubs in 1’17”6 in the first lot, the young driver coach returned to his first shot of three made Monday at Croisé-Laroche: “It’s really good. Before the start, we didn’t have the best chances and everything went well each time. It has to last.” Proud of this performance, the driver nevertheless keeps a cool head: “It’s a little bit of pride, but you have to keep a cool head. Some people score 6 or 7, so you have to stay lucid and hope that it continues”.
“I haven’t completely taken over the stable yet”
Having obtained his coaching license since March 2021, Thibaut Dromigny still works hand in hand with his father Nicolas. “I haven’t fully recovered. We both work together at the stable. It’s also what allows me to go shopping in the afternoon. We’ll try to continue like this as long as things go, then we’ll see how things go.”. A training session for two. “We both trot, decisions are made equally, we talk about it and everything goes well. We don’t have a picket of horses each, everyone takes everyone and it’s better that way.”
Since the start of his racing career, Thibaut Dromigny (28 years old) has competed in 2,450 races for 188 victories, including 35 in 2024.
