The Punch Club stops in Lourdes for an exceptional day of improvisation, Monday December 2 at the Robert Hossein space.
After the success of the France/Quebec improvisation match in November 2023, which attracted both schools and the public, France and Quebec return this year to Lourdes with an explosive formula: “street improv”.
This Monday, December 2, the Robert Hossein space will be the scene of a unique event, combining creativity and interaction. Two shows will mark this exceptional day:
– At 2 p.m.: a participatory school show. Students from Marie Curie high school will share the stage with Quebec actors Louis-Philippe Desjardins, Fabiola Nyrva Aladin and Jean-Alexandre Giguère, for a fun and enriching immersion in the art of improvisation.
– At 8 p.m.: explosive duel between Punch Club and La Limone. In the evening, the Quebec troupe will face the Parisian company La Limone in a face-to-face improvisation without rules, where the public will choose the winning team.
The concept of street improv, with its 3 against 3 format and its absence of strict rules, promises colorful improvisation performances and a renewed dynamism compared to classic improvisation matches.
This event will also feature the Enj’Oc association, which will hold a refreshment bar in support of the promotion of the Occitan language, while the “Aux Délices Dujardin” food truck will offer gourmet meals.
