Princess Charlène appears with her precious engagement ring during Monaco's national holiday

She was joined by Charlotte Casiraghi, who had just returned from the runways of Fashion Week, where she walked for Chanel. Charlotte Casiraghi, who hosts Chanel's literary meetings, confided that she does not particularly hold these kinds of events in her heart: “I don't particularly like these official representations, but I do it if it's for a cause that is important to me or if it is important to my family,” she recently told Telegraph.

Camille Gottliebthe 25-year-old daughter of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and former palace guard Jean Raymond Gottlieb was also in attendance. Camille shared a photo on her Instagram documenting the crowds gathered outside the royal palace, many of whom were waving the Monaco flag. Camille is known for her sartorial homages to her grandmother, Grace Kelly. Her green coat was reminiscent of the wool coat that the actress wore for a lunch at the White House with Jackie O in 1961.

As members of the royal family waved to the audience from the palace balcony, all eyes were once again on Princess Charlene and her young family waving to the cheering crowd. After health concerns and rumors of dissension between the couple, many are delighted to see the royal spouses united for the city-state's national day.

After contracting an ear, nose and throat infection while traveling in southern Africa in 2021, Charlene was unable to fly. She therefore remained stuck in Africa for months, without being able to return to Monaco. The princess missed her tenth wedding anniversary and had to undergo numerous surgeries to try to remedy the situation. Upon her return to Monaco, the palace explained that she would be withdrawing from a series of royal duties due to “profound fatigue.” Fortunately, her state of health seems to have improved and Charlène is approaching this new stage of her life with a look of optimism.
