The Monegasque national holiday has taken place on November 19 since the 1950s. Prince Rainier III set the holiday on this date, in memory of the date of his own enthronement, which also coincides with the day of celebration of Blessed Rainier of Arezzo . The national holiday is also known as the Sovereign's Day because the Head of State is the main person celebrated on this day dedicated to honoring the strong attachment that unites the Monegasque population to the Prince.

In the evening, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene made a remarkable appearance at the Grimaldi Forum, decked out in their evening wear and their distinctions, to attend the concert.

Andrea Casiraghi, Princess Caroline's eldest son, was accompanied by his wife, Tatiana Santo Domingo. Tatiana wore a green velvet dress from the Muzungu Sisters boutique.
Charlotte Casiraghi and her younger brother, Pierre Casiraghi, were absent during the evening. However, Pierre was magnificently represented by his wife, Beatrice Borromeo. As a loyal Dior ambassador, the Italian aristocrat wore a black evening dress from the French fashion house.

Finally, Princess Alexandra of Hanover, Princess Caroline's youngest child, attended this Puccini concert with her companion, Ben-Sylvester Strautmann. Princess Alexandra wore a voluminous burgundy dress by Giambattista Valli, which she accompanied with several Cartier jewels. On the evening's program, a performance of “La Bohême” by Giacomo Puccini. This opera is inspired by the literary work “Scenes from Bohemian Life”, written in 1849 by Henry Murger. Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov play the title roles. Ironically, the two opera singers were also a couple in life, who announced their separation a little earlier in the year.
