An exquisite evening is coming up at the Big Bang Bar in Quimper with the ever-more-ideas-filled Ty Catch Impro troupe. See you Thursday, November 21, at 8 p.m., to discover the show “Exquis”, based on the game of the exquisite corpse. “It’s a cabaret show format given in a theater atmosphere within the bar,” explains actress Marlène Grenon, who will be accompanied on stage by Romain Abasq.
For this show, it is the public who provides the raw material. Each spectator, once seated, is invited to write down on a small sheet of paper a sentence of their own invention or heard randomly in the room. All these sentences are gathered in a box and then drawn randomly by the actors, throughout the show.
Unexpected and hilarious improvisations
“For each improvisation, we draw two papers. The first is the starting point and the second is the last sentence. This gives rise to unexpected and hilarious improvisations that can last from one minute to 5-6 minutes! », savors the actress in advance. “The last phrase of the first improv is the starting point for the next one and so on. In the end, it makes for a very rhythmic show where it’s impossible to get bored. »
The audience remains vigilant all evening, everyone impatient to hear the sentence they wrote down on the little paper. An evening of shows that we guarantee will be deliciously funny. It is even rumored that the theme of Beaujolais Nouveau could be addressed.
